WWIIHARLAN Warren H. Harlan, 91, of Cincinnati, son of Clayton and Cora Harlan, passed away on Tuesday, August 28th at home. He is survived by and was the loving husband of Anna Mary Wolf Harlan and was the devoted father of Dawn High, Mark (Chris) Harlan, Dale (Helen) Harlan, Carla (Mark) Hutker and Wade (Helen) Harlan. He is also survived by his younger brother Rev. Lloyd Harlan, older sister Ethel Marie Wood and by 10 grandchildren. Warren graduated in 1938 from Etna Green High School. After serving in World War II, Warren graduated from Tri-State College in engineering and then worked for 35 years for Procter & Gamble where he retired as Manager of Technology. He was a master woodworker, avid golfer, an outdoorsman who loved to hunt and fish, and was a member of American Legion Post 530. He served as both a deacon and trustee at Greenhills Community Church, Presbyterian and was a volunteer woodworker at Maple Knoll Village. The visitation in Cincinnati will be Friday, August 29th from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m. at Greenhills Community Church, Presbyterian (21 Cromwell Rd., Greenhills, OH 45218) followed by a funeral service at 3 p.m. and a reception after that. A second visitation will be Sunday, September 2nd at Stony Point Cemetery (3 miles west and .5 miles north of Clunette, IN on county road 650 N.) from 3 - 4 p.m. followed by the graveside service at 4 p.m. A reception will follow at around 5 p.m. at Mt. Tabor Church of God (8424 North 800 West, Etna Green, IN 46524, 5.2 miles south of Nappanee). Family requests memorials to Greenhills Community Church, Presbyterian.
