Vivian Watson

Vivian Lucille Watson, beloved wife of 65 years to the late Dr. Raymond Watson, retired professor of Pharmacy at U.C. Loving mother of Kevin (Betsy) Watson, Dr. Stephen (Kathy) Watson, and Shauna (Rick) Dorrel. Adoring grandmother of Ashley and Andrea Watson, and Krista Dorrel. Cherished daughter of the late Lucian and Leota White. She met her husband while they were in high school and attending Trinity Methodist Church in Latonia, Kentucky. Vivian committed her life to Jesus Christ early in her life. Vivian and Raymond were married on July 10, 1945. Raymond met his Savior on May 4, 2010. Vivian continued her life on her own with the assistance of some loving caregivers and her children. She departed this world for her heavenly home on June 5, 2015 at the age of 92 after slowly declining in health over the last 3 years. While her family grieves her death, they rejoice because they know that she has met her Lord and Savior and now enjoys her eternal home in heaven, reunited with Raymond once again. Visitation will be held at Springdale Church of the Nazarene, 11177 Springfield Pike, Cincinnati, Ohio 45246 on Tuesday, June 9, 2015 from 10am until noon with the funeral service to follow. The graveside service will follow at Arlington Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice of Hamilton or Springdale Nazarene Missions. Condolences to vorhisandryan.com.
