Virginia Striker

Striker, Virginia M. (Ginny) (nee Butler), Beloved wife of the late Richard L. Striker, loving mother of Steve Striker, Mark (Lisa) Striker, Rob (Laura) Striker, and Douglas Striker. Devoted Grandmother of Chris (Ashley), Sarah (Jon Pennington), Matt, Nick, Sam, and Nate. Great-grandmother of Lucas Striker. Sister of the late Bill (Martha) Butler. Born in St Louis, Missouri to the late William and Alma Butler on 1/1/1931. She was a member of Forest Chapel United Methodist Church, a member of the Forest Park Garden Club for over 20 years, and a longtime resident of Forest Park and later, Maple Knoll Village. A visitation for family and close friends will be at Vorhis and Ryan Funeral Home at 11365 Springfield Pike on 7/2/2020 from noon to 1pm, and a private graveside funeral service will be held at 1:30pm at Oak Hill Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the Parkinson's Foundation at parkinson.org. On behalf of the family we are asking to respect the current COVID 19 recommendations. Allowed gathering size will be 50 or less attendees and all those participating will be required to wear masks and respect social distancing.
