Virgie (nee Carnes), of Withamsville, OH, beloved wife of the late George Powell; dear sister of Helen (the late Jim) Evans, Roy (Wanda) Carnes, and the late Geneva (Clyde) Hensley, Ray (Beatrice) Carnes, and Mollie (Tony) Bargo. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. June 1, 2016. Age 87. Visitation will be at Vorhis & Ryan Funeral Home, 11365 Springfield Pk., Springdale on Sunday, June 5, 2016 from 4-6 PM. Funeral service will be at the funeral home Monday, June 6, 2016 at 11 AM.
