Virda Marcum

MARCUM, Virda G. (nee Perry), beloved wife of the late Calvin Marcum, sweet and devoted mother of Dr. Sandy (Marvin) Matthews-Heymann, Doris (Tom) Eckes and Diana (Bob) Moorman. She is the over the moon "Bama" to grandchildren Britt (Kisha) Ohana, Jason (Erica) Anderson, Jeff Stanaford and great-grandchildren Amari Blakey, Ava Anderson and Hayden Anderson. She loved and left behind her sister, Treba (Perry) Trammell, brother Bill Perry and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. She is met in Heaven by her father Allen Perry, her mother Lola (Randolph) Perry, five sisters, four brothers and several nieces and nephews. She passed away on March 6, 2014 at the age of 88 at her final earthly home at Glendale Place Care Center where she was loved and cared for by the most wonderful people including people from Vitas Hospice Care. A visitation will be held in the Chapel of Landmark Baptist Temple, 1600 Glendale Milford Rd., Cincinnati, OH 45241 on Thursday, March 13, 2014 from 10:00 AM until time of funeral service at 12:00 Noon. Burial will immediately follow at Landmark Memorial Gardens. Memorials may be made to VITAS Hospice, 11500 Northlake Drive, Cincinnati, OH 45249.
