Violet Waldroup

Violet June Waldroup, age 84, peacefully entered into eternal rest on September 27, 2022. Devoted wife of the late Charles Ivan Waldroup of 43 years. Violet was born into the family of Flora and Jennings Stephens on April 20,1938. Loving mother of Ross (Cheryl) Waldroup and Pamela (Clifford) Heidorn. Beloved Grandmother of Melissa (Phillip) Waldroup-Pennino, Matthew (Heather) Waldroup, Travis (Natasha) Waldroup, Joshua (Sarah) Heidorn and Julie (Jeremy) Heidorn-Sears. Dear Great Grandmother of Makayla Waldroup, Lucy and Charlie Sears, Kyleigh Waldroup, Luke and James Pennino, Thomas Heidorn. She leaves behind a host of uncles, aunts, cousins and friends. She will be sadly missed but our loss will be Heaven’s gain. She is presently a member at Living Word Baptist Church. Visitation for family and friends will be Monday, October 3, 2022 from 10:30 AM with the memorial service at 12:30 PM at Vorhis & Ryan Funeral Home, 11365 Springfield Pike, Springdale, Ohio 45246. Burial will follow in Arlington Memorial Gardens.  In lieu of flowers the family asks that a contribution be made in Violet’s name to Vitas Hospice, or your favorite charity. At the completion of the burial service a meal is being provided at Christ Lutheran Church 3301 Compton Road, Cincinnati OH 45251 for those who wish to attend.
