Vernon L., beloved husband of 68 years of Dorothy Mae (nee Gatto); devoted
father of Miriam (Les) Reed, Lois (Bill) Grow, Virginia Purcell, Jeanne (Joe)
Sanker, and Joan Nethero; loving grandfather of 11; great grandfather of 11;
dear brother of Norbert and the late Thomas and Raymond. Also survived by many
loving nieces and nephews. Passed away on November 16, 2014 at age 96. WWII
veteran. Army Air Corps. Visitation will be at Our Lady of the Sacred Heart
Catholic Church, 177 Siebenthaler Ave., Reading, OH on Saturday, November 22,
2014 from 9 to 9:45 AM, followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 10 AM. In lieu
