Verda Nussbaum

Nussbaum, Verda Alice (nee Gross) Age 83. Long time resident of Norwood, passed away Sunday July 7, 2019. Alice was the beloved wife of Henry Nussbaum Jr, cherished mother of Steven Gross (D), William J Roberts, Jennifer Pence and JoAnn (Marshall) Stevens. Loving sister of Deborah Thacker. Dear Grandmother of Kevin Huguet and Miranda Roberts, Great Grandmother of Alexander Huguet. She was preceeded in death by her parents, GB and Alice Gross, her special parents, Lydia and Allen Thacker, brothers, Odell, Oval, Orville, GB Jr and Vernon, sisters Marie, Elsie, Imogene and twin sister Mary Jane, as well as three nieces, Tammy, Connie and Vickie. She is survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.   Visitation is 4:30 PM until time of service at 6:30 PM  Thursday, July 11, 2019 at Vorhis & Ryan Funeral Home, 5501 Montgomery Rd, Norwood, Ohio 45212.  Burial will take place Friday, July 12, 2019 at 1 PM in Mt. Paran Church Cemetery, Beattyville, KY.
