Ulysses “Mac” Langford, a resident of West Chester, Ohio, died on Saturday, October 1, 2016. Mac was born on November 22, 1919, to Emmitt and Scrilda Langford. He had seven brothers and two sisters and was the last surviving child of his parents. Mac was preceded in death by his wife, Lucille, and three sons, Fenton, Danny and Dwight. He is survived by his daughter, Dorothy, and her husband, Dennis, and his son, David, Jr. and his wife, Melodie. He is also survived by his wife, Beverly Campbell-Langford, and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was a humble and kind man with a great legacy of hard work and service to his country. He was a faithful member of The Calvary Church in Springdale for many years. Mac retired from Ford Motor Company in Sharonville, Ohio, and he was a distinguished World War II veteran, receiving three Bronze Star Medals, a Good Conduct Medal, the European-African-Middle Eastern Campaign Medal and the attached Bronze Arrowhead, recognizing his participation in an airborne or amphibious assault landing, and the World War II Victory Ribbon. Visitation is scheduled from 6:30 until time of service at 7:30 PM on Wednesday, October, 5, 2016, at The Calvary Church, 11970 Kenn Road, Cincinnati, Ohio.
