Thomas Loftus

Thomas Andrew, beloved husband of the late JoAnn Loftus (nee Overman); devoted father of Doug (Linda), David (Mary Beth), Debbie, and Dennis Loftus, Michelle (Branden) Combs, Karri (Ryan) Slattery, and James (Heather) Loftus; loving grandfather of Eric, Brian, Alyssa, Chandler, Andrew, Griffin, Gillian, Kyler, Kaylen, Ronin, and Lillian; great grandfather of Payten; dear brother of Dan and Tim Loftus, Julie Hoffman, and the late Robert Loftus; son of the late Robert V. and Rose Marie Loftus (nee Meyer). Passed away on Friday, May 8, 2015 at age 77. Tom graduated from St. Ambrose University and completed graduate work in Physics at the University of Iowa, worked for Bendix Aerospace and General Electric Aircraft Engine Group. He retired in 2002 from G.E. Visitation will be at St. Gabriel Catholic Church, 48 W. Sharon Rd., Glendale on Monday, May 18, 2015 from 9:30 AM til time of Mass of Eternal Rest at 10:30 AM. Memorial donations may be sent to Maple Knoll Village Future Care Fund, 11100 Springfield Pk., Springdale, OH 45246.
