Stanley Eaton

EATONStanley L., age 92, loving husband of the late Pettrila "Pat" (nee Ochs) Eaton. He is survived by his daughter, Barbara Eaton Reilly, of Golden, CO. Janet Eaton precedes her parents in death. As an officer in the U.S. Army during World War II, Stan worked in Oak Ridge, TN on the Manhattan Project, the process that developed the atomic weapon that ended the war. After obtaining degrees in Electrical Engineering from Louisiana State and Chemical Engineering from the University of Cincinnati, he worked in process development for Procter & Gamble for over 35 years, retiring in 1984. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 pm, Tuesday, July 31 in the chapel at Maple Knoll Village, 11100 Springfield Pike in Springdale. In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions to the Future Care Fund at Maple Knoll Village, 11100 Springfield Pike, Springdale, OH 45246.
