Sandra (nee Volle) Albers, a devoted mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. Sandy was 80 years young when she passed away on November 20, 2020. She was born on February 5, 1940 to Harry and Lucille Volle. She had some medical complications that quickly took a turn for the worst. She was a very loving outgoing person that enjoyed being around family and making others smile. She was an amazing artist and made sure to incorporate art in her everyday life. Sandy was a quick witted, fun and entertaining lady. She dedicated a part of her life to being an outstanding schoolteacher and left an impact on the students she taught. She loved to help others and had a soft spot in her heart for helping children grow in their own artsy way.
Sandy was the eldest of eight brothers and sisters, Denny Volle, Connie Senger, Larry Volle (Maureen), Linda Strong (the late David), Steve Volle, Christine Salyers (Willy), and Greg Volle. She was a committed, loving, and caring mother that always supported her only child Christina Thomas (Bill). Sandy was an exceptional grandmother and will also be viewed as another mother to Hanna Thomas and Molly Thomas. She will be remembered as a beautiful, warm hearted, loving woman that will live on through her family and friends. Her family wanted everyone to know that even though her body may be gone she lives in the hearts of everyone she has ever touched.
“This is not a goodbye; this is a see you later.”
We love you Sandy, Rest in Peace, and continue to watch over us until we see you again.
