Ruth Kaper

Ruth Marie Kaper (nee Steffler) of Maineville, Ohio went to our Lord at the age of 94 on November 2, 2021. Ruth was the loving wife of 72 years to Loran Troy Kaper; mother of Ronald T. Kaper (Sharon), Connie S. Whanger (the late Wes), Loran T. Kaper Jr (Tammye), and Thomas R. Kaper (Susan); eight grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren; sister to Helen DeLong and the late Hilda Tunison.

Ruth was a devoted Catholic, an avid reader and a passionate golfer. Ruth enjoyed a good game of Dominoes with her friends, was dedicated to her Cincinnati Reds, Bearcats, Bengals and of course Notre Dame football. She loved her family and would often tell stories of her wonderful grandchildren Julie (Terry), Laura (Mark), Catie (Shaun), Matt (Amy), Eric, Nick, Mike, Joe and great-grandchildren Zac, Lillie, Noah, Sarah, Luke, Alayna, Maddie, Carter, Haley, and Tyler. They all knew and loved their great-grandmother.

Visitation will take place on Wednesday, November 10, 2021 from 5pm to 7pm at Vorhis & Ryan Funeral Home, 11365 Springfield Pike, Springdale, OH 45246. A mass will be held on Thursday, November 11, 2021 at 11:00am at St. Phillip the Apostle Church, 944 US-22, Morrow, OH 45152. Private burial to follow.
