Robert Jackisch

ARMYJACKISCHRobert "Bob". Went home to the Lord on June 2, 2009 at the age of 76 after a two year battle with cancer. Beloved husband for 51 years of "Sandy" Katherine (nee Guy) Jackisch. Loving father of Michael (Mary Tarbuck) and Kathy Jackisch. Dear grandfather of Daniel and Bryan Jackisch. Youngest brother of Eleanor Hedke, Fred Jackisch, and Aurora Koeppen. Preceded in death by his parents, Elmer and Aurora Jackisch, brother, Herbert Jackisch, and sisters, Ruth Mueller and Marie Phren. Retired from General Electric after 32 productive years as an engineer. Lifelong member and servant at Messiah Lutheran Church in Greenhills. Faithful volunteer for Meals on Wheels and Habitat for Humanity. Remembered by his many friends as an excellent carpenter, golfer, and loyal friend. Memorials in lieu of flowers may be made to Messiah Lutheran Church, 10416 Bossi Lane, Greenhills, OH 45218 or Hospice of Cincinnati, P.O. Box 633597, Cincinnati, OH 45263. Visitation is Friday, June 5, 2009 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Messiah Lutheran Church and funeral service is Saturday, June 6, 2009 at 10:30 AM at Messiah Lutheran Church with interment to follow at Oak Hill Cemetery.
