Robert Burke

BURKE, Robert A., loving husband of the late Cecilia I. (Stuben) Burke; devoted father of Robert B. Burke and Valerie E. (Thomas) McQueen. Also survived by his sister, Nancy Szesny of Hawaii and numerous nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his parents, Raymond and Estelle Burke and his brother, Roland Burke. Passed away on May 8, 2014 at the age of 82. Longtime resident of Anderson Township, Ohio. An avid mountain climber for 50+ years, having climbed all the world's major mountain ranges. Retired Sergeant Major of 30 years - Once a Marine, always a Marine, Semper Fi. Inurnment at the Arlington National Cemetery Columbarium, Arlington, Virginia on Monday, November 24, 2014 at 9:00 AM with full military honors. Memorial donations to the Honor Flight Network.
