HABERERRichard Charles, 86, of Cincinnati, OH, beloved husband of Phyllis; loving father of Richard Jr. (Elaine), Susan (David), Kathy, Mark (Kathy), and John (Barbara); brother of Pat and Mary Lou. Passed away peacefully on Wednesday, January 2, 2013. He is also survived by 13 beautiful grandchildren: Christina (Andy), Sandra (Reed), Steven, Michael, Daniel, Hannah, Robert, Joseph, Benjamin, Thomas, Brian, Lucas and Mary; and 6 great grandchildren: Emma, Anna, Adelyn, Margo, Molly, and Reagan who were the light of his life. Richard was preceded in death by his parents, Sylvester and Alice, brothers, Bob and Tommy and sister, Joan. Dick was a proud veteran of WWII, having served in the Navy and receiving the Victory Medal & Good Conduct Medal. Visitation at Vorhis & Ryan Funeral Home, 11365 Springfield Pike, Springdale, OH on Saturday, January 5, 2013 from 9 AM until 12 Noon. Mass of Eternal Rest at St Gabriel Church, 48 W. Sharon Road, Glendale, OH on Saturday, January 5, 2013 at 1 PM. Memorial donations may be made to Hospice of Cincinnati or Cincinnati VA Medical Center.
