ATWOODPastor Larry Wayne, beloved husband of Carolyn (nee Ford) Atwood, went home to be with the Lord on September 19, 2012 at the age of 55. Loving father of three boys, Jonathan, Nathan and Matthew; father-in-law of Natalie and soon to be Erica Robinson; Papaw of Makenzie, Toby, Paisley Grace Atwood and soon to be Carter Robinson; brother of Ken (Kay) Craynon, Sue (Keith) Carberry, Tammy Atwood, and Karen (Hubert) Branstetter; uncle of Elizabeth, Bobbie, Amber, Amanda, Hubie, Dana, Rudy, Josh, Ricky, Christy, Carmen, Kim, and John; son-in-law of Novella Ford. Larry was Pastor of the Cameron Avenue Church of God and friend of many at the Hamilton County Municipal Court. He was preceded in death by his parents Verne and Geneva Atwood, one brother, and father-in-law John Ford. Larry was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer in August of 2010 and fought hard to beat the cancer so he could continue to tell others about his Savior, Jesus Christ. Visitation at Cameron Avenue Church of God, 2156 Cameron Ave., Norwood on Saturday, September 22, 2012 from 10:00 AM until time of service at 3:00 PM. Interment at Rest Haven Memorial Park on Monday, September 24, 2012. Family and friends to meet at 10:00 AM at the front gate of the cemetery.
