Orpha Boyer

BOYEROrpha (nee Lambert) passed away peacefully on Saturday, July 20, 2013 at age 96. She is predeceased by her two husbands, Crawford LaRue and Jay Boyer. She had one brother, Okey Lambert and one sister, Anna Reynolds, both deceased. She leaves numerous nieces and nephews. Orpha retired from P&G after many years of service; volunteered at Bethesda North Hospital for 17 years; and was a lifelong philanthropist. She was a kind, loyal friend to many who will solely miss her. Visitation will be held at Vorhis & Ryan Funeral Home, 11365 Springfield Pike, Springdale, OH , Wednesday, July 24, 2013 from 6:00-8:00 PM. A funeral service will be held at Friendship United Methodist Church, 1025 Springfield Pike, Wyoming, OH on Thursday, July 25, 2013 at 11:00 AM. If desired, memorials may be made to Friendship United Methodist Church or Maple Knoll Village.
