Olive LaPrade

Olive LaPrade left this world November 23, 2011 to be with her Lord. As a member of the Pleaseant Ridge Presbyterian Church for many years, she lived her faith by her involvement in church leadership, sewing circle, The Caring Place, and Christmas Bazaars. She leaves her children, David Plunkett (Liz), Patty Stephens (John), and Kay Marchioni. She also had numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, and even five great-great grandchildren. Olive worked at the American Laundry Machine Company in Norwood as one of the first female electrical draftsman. She loved Princeton and Withrow High School Basketball and Bearcat Hoops. Olive enjoyed a very active social life and relaxed by cross stitching and playing bingo.Visitation at Vorhis & Ryan Funeral Home, 5501 Montgomery Road, Norwood, Ohio on Saturday, November 26, 2011 from 1:00 PM until time of funeral service at 2:00 PM. Burial will be at Spring Grove Cemetery.
