Nancy Parks

Nancy Christine Parks (nee Herman), of Glendale, Ohio. Born to Christian and Mary Herman on December 31, 1943 and departed this world on October 31, 2021. Her husband of 44 years, Randall L. Parks; children, David Erich Powell, Lauren Anne (nee Powell) Wadds, Jennifer Lynn Powell, and her seven grandchildren were present as she peacefully was received on to heaven. Nancy was the dear sister of Patricia Subbayya, Thomas Herman, and Don Herman. She is preceeded and death by her older brother, James O. Herman.

Private family burial took place on November 5, 2021 at Oak Hill Cemetery in Springdale, Ohio. A memorial and celebration of life will be announced at a later date.

Memorial donations can be made to Glendale Urban Forestry Board, 30 Village Square, Glendale, Ohio.

Nancy was humble about her talents, but they were formidable. She was an accomplished seamstress, party entertainer, find cook, good singer. She participated in local theater productions, was a prolific and descriptive writer of memories, relationships, and above all was a thrift store queen who had an amazing interior design sense. Nancy dearly loved her family and her Lord Jesus, embodied His love with her smile and joyous disposition.
