Mildred Harmon

Mildred Harmon was born December 14, 1930 and departed this life on January 11, 2021 at the age of 90.  She was preceded in death by her mother, father, two brothers and a sister.  She is survived by her daughter Ruth Harmon; her sons Steve Harmon and Wayne (Debbie) Harmon; and her daughter-in-law Landa Gale Harmon; two granddaughters Elizabeth (Tom) Melton and Tiffany Harmon; and her six great-grandchildren.  Mildred was born and raised in Nancy, Kentucky and moved to Cincinnati, Ohio in the 1960’s where she raised her family.  She became a Christian at the age of ten and faithfully attended church her whole life and most years read her Bible all the way through.  She was a factory worker most of her working life and a landlord. For many years she tended her own vegetable garden and canned vegetables which she enjoyed.  Her family and friends mourn her passing.  She will be missed.  Family and friends may visit Friday, January 15, 2021 at Vorhis & Ryan Funeral Homes, 310 Dunn Street, Lockland, Ohio 45215 from 10 AM until the time of the Celebration of life at 11 AM.  Burial will immediately follow at Landmark Memorial Gardens in Glendale, Ohio.  Per the family’s request, all COVID-19 recommendations are to be followed and everyone will be required to wear a mask.
