Maurice Clouse

CLOUSEMaurice Kenneth, age 82, passed away on Friday, May 1, 2009. Beloved husband of the late Mabel (nee Judd) Clouse. Loving father of Vicky Partee, Patty (Ron) Samples, and Ken Clouse. Devoted papaw of Heather, Jamie, Sarah, Ethan, Jordan, Jacob, and Rebekah. Great grandpa of Michael, Brandy, and Brittany. Preceded in death by his parents and 9 brothers and sisters. He leaves behind a brother, Stan Clouse, and two sisters, Carol Eads and Jean Hall and a dear friend and companion, Lois Kuhn. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends. Maurice served in WWII in Europe as a Reconnaissance Car Commander. He was a simple man with great love for his home, bowling, gardening, his lake and the purple martins, but it was his family he loved most of all. Maurice will be greatly missed, but is rejoicing today in heaven. Visitation will be at Vorhis & Ryan Funeral Home, 11365 Springfield Pike, Springdale, Tuesday, May 5, 2009 from 11:00 AM until time of funeral service at 1:00 PM with Ernie Doxsey officiating. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Heart Association.
