Mary Mooney

Mary Doloris Mooney (nee' Bennington), 96, passed away peacefully on Monday, March 23, 2021. Born on May 5, 1924 to the late Frank and Mary (nee' Mahoney) Bennington. She was the beloved wife to the late Jack Mooney; loving aunt to Tom (Diane) Mooney, Jane (Ken) Kline, the late Dan (Reina) Mooney; many other nieces and nephews; cherished by several great and great-great nieces and nephews; adored by her extended family and a great friend of many. Mary was profoundly devoted to her family. She was a woman of deep faith and a lifelong member of the Reading-Lockland Presbyterian Church. Mary often spoke of the deep love she and her husband Jack "Mick" shared over the course of their marriage. In her late years, Mary took joy in spending time with her great nieces and nephews celebrating family holidays and get togethers. We are deeply grateful to the caregivers at Hospice of Cincinnati and Brookdale Finneytown for the care shown to Mary in her final days. Due to COVID protocols a private graveside funeral, by invitation only, will be held at Oak Hill Cemetery.
