Mary Conroy

CONROYMary Louise (nee Stricker). November 30, 2009 at the age of 84. She died peacefully, surrounded by her family. Survived by her loving husband of over 60 years, James Conroy, Sr.; sons, James, Jr., Robert (Shirley), Donald, Paul (Ann); daughter, Mary Ann (Mark) Stewart; 13 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren; and brother, Rev. Robert Stricker. Preceded in death by sons, Stephen and David and daughter, Elizabeth. Though faced with the difficulty of children with cystic fibrosis, Mary maintained a zest for life. She attended daily Mass and volunteered visiting nursing homes. Her true joys were her faith and her family. She never tired of spoiling her grandchildren. Visitation at Vorhis & Ryan Funeral Home, 5501 Montgomery Road, Norwood, Sunday, December 6, 2009 from 3:00 PM until 5:00 PM. Visitation at Holy Trinity Church, Montgomery Rd. & Drex Ave., Norwood, December 7, 2009 from 9:00 AM until time of Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM . In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Purcell Marian High School or Right to Life of Greater Cincinnati, Inc.
