Mary Jean Burnett

Mary Jean Burnett (nee Doddy), 74, of Norwood, Ohio; chose to leave this world peacefully on the evening of Thursday, November 30, 2023. Mary Jean was a former registered nurse and beloved wife of 52 years to Wayne R. Burnett. Nursing was her first love. She was also a loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother.

Born May 29, 1949 to Jeanette and James Doddy in Cincinnati, Ohio; she adored her family. She was the mother of Elizabeth (Kelly Swope) Burnett, Nicholas (Beth) Burnett, and Abbigail Stratman. Grandmother of Lexii Fathman and Gracie Burnett. Great grandmother of Salem.

Mary Jean's loving spirit and sense of humor will live on.

Friends may visit with the family for a Celebration of Mary Jean’s life at Vorhis & Ryan Funeral Home, 5501 Montgomery Rd., Norwood, OH 45212 on Saturday, December 16, 2023 from 11am until time of service at 1pm.
