APKE Mary Bernice ''Bernie" (nee Yelton), beloved wife of the late Herman J. Apke; devoted mother of Judie (Bill) Smith, Ted (Carol) Apke, and Dave (Debbi) Apke; loving grandmother of nine; great grandmother of 13; great-great grandmother of one; dear sister of the late Helena Clegg, Mildred Brinkman, and Essie VanderVeer. Passed away Friday, February 19, 2010. Age 96. She was active in the Reading Seniors; Sts, Peter & Paul Seniors, and Sycamore Squares. Visitation at Lockland Christian Church, corner of Mill and Patterson Streets, Lockland, Wednesday, February 24, 2010 from 10:00 AM until time of funeral service at 11:00 AM. Memorials may be sent to Lockland Christian Church or Vitas Hospice.
