THACKERLydia (nee Profitt), beloved wife of the late Allen Thacker; devoted mother of Deborah Thacker, Alice (Henry) Nussbaum, and the late Jane Smith; loving grandmother of Jeff (Veronica) Roberts, Jennifer Pence, Orvan Armstrong, and the late Tamara Lewis, Sharon Armstrong, and Steven Gross; great grandmother of Miranda Roberts, Kevin Huguet, and Shannon Armstrong; daughter of the late Harrison and Ollie Profitt; dear sister of Daisy Crabtree and the late Lonnie Profitt and Gladys Gross. Also survived by niece, Joan Runyon, and nephews, Richard and Rodney Gross and numerous cousins. Resident of Norwood, OH. She went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, October 5, 2010 at the age of 92. Visitation at Vorhis & Ryan Funeral Home, 5501 Montgomery Road, Norwood, Friday, October 8, 2010 from 4:00 PM until time of funeral service at 7:00 PM. Additional services will be held at Newman Funeral Home in Beattyville, KY.
