WALLIN Lowell I., age 80, passed away on Tuesday, April 9, 2013 in Jewish Hospital, Cincinnati, OH. Lowell was born on August 4, 1932 in Broughtontown, Ky. He was the son of the late Andy and Elizabeth Adams Wallin. Lowell was drafted into the army and served in Germany during the Korean War. After the Army, Lowell went to work for Stearns & Foster Company in Lockland, OH retiring in 1993 after 42 years of service with the company. Survivors include his wife of 52 years, Norma J. Manuel Wallin. Four sisters, Edith Dishon, Judy Croushorn, Janet (Doug) Bishop, and Joyce (Tommy) Messer. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Lowell was one of the Baptist Faith, a KY Colonel, and a lifetime member of the N.R.A. Visitation will be at Vorhis & Ryan Funeral Home, 310 Dunn Street, Lockland on April 11, 2013 from 5:00-8:00 PM with additional visitation at McKnight Funeral Home, Main Street, Crab Orchard, KY on Saturday, April 13, 2013 from 11:00 AM until time of funeral service at 1:00 PM. Burial will follow at the Crab Orchard Cemetery. Casket bearers include Sid Hines, Clint Manuel, Robbie Croushorn, Kevin Messer, Doug Bishop, and Mark Dishon.
