Lori Ann Slye

SLYE, Lori Ann (nee Heimkreiter). Beloved wife of the late Barry W. Slye. Devoted mother of Lonnie (Mandy) Slye, Casey Slye, Sherry Slye, Niki Slye, and Zach (Britta Roth) Slye. Loving Mimi of Chase Barry Slye. Dear sister of "Skip" (Sandy) Heimkreiter, Lynn (Austin) Welch, and the late Steve (Kelly Rossi) Heimkreiter. Sister-in-law to Cindy (Bob) Thurner. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. 

Lori grew up in College Hill, and married the love of her life, Barry. They went on to have five children that were the apple of her eye. She dedicated her entire life to her family and thoroughly enjoyed watching them grow up and play sports. She spent endless hours cheering them on at the ballfields. Later, she became an avid Reds and Bengals fan and hardly ever missed watching a game. Lori was also an outstanding cook. The door was always open and there was always plenty of food for family and friends. Lori passed away on Friday, January 19, 2024 at age 68, with her family by her side. She will be missed everyday, but her memory will live on forever.

Visitation will be held on Friday, January 26, 2024 at Vorhis & Ryan Funeral Home, 5501 Montgomery Rd., Norwood, OH 45212 from 10 AM until time of memorial service at 12 Noon.
