Loran Kaper

Loran Troy Kaper of Maineville, Ohio went to our Lord at the age of 93 on December 13, 2021. Troy was preceded in death by his loving wife of 72 years Ruth Marie (nee Steffler) Kaper and his sister Charlotte May Belanger (nee Kaper). Troy was the father of Ronald T. Kaper (Sharon), Connie S. Whanger (the late Wesley), Loran T. Kaper Jr. (Tammye), and Thomas R. Kaper (Susan); eight grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.

Troy was a 32 Degree Scottish Rite Mason, he was a member of Oakley Masonic Lodge having just recently been honored for his 69th year. Troy was an avid reader and was a passionate golfer belonging to Bellwood Country Club for many years. Troy loved his family and so proud of all their talent and accomplishments. Troy loved to get together for holidays, birthdays, just about any reason to spend time with his wonderful grandchildren Julie (Terry), Laura (Mark), Catie (Shaun), Matt (Amy), Eric, Nick, Mike, Joe, and great-grandchildren Zac, Lillie, Noah, Sarah, Luke, Alayna, Maddie, Carter, Hailey, and Tyler. They all loved and knew their great-grandpa.

Visitation will take place on Tuesday, December 21, 2021 from 11 am to 1 pm at Vorhis & Ryan Funeral Home 11365 Springfield Pike, Cincinnati OH 45246.  A Masonic service will follow at 1 pm at the chapel at Vorhis and then a private burial with family will follow.
