Lloyd McCreary

McCrearyLloyd K. "Mac", loving husband of Beverly McCreary (nee Ball); dear father of Donna (Denny) Schlie, Kimberly (Gary) Shepherd, James McCreary, and daughter-in-law, Jackie McCreary. Preceding him in death was his son, Kelly "Michael", his father, Marion "Kelly" McCreary, his mother, Margaret Rosen, and mother-in-law, Pauline Ball. He was a wonderful Poppy to Ross Zurmehly, and Kellie, Taylor, and Michael McCreary. He was a loving Daddy Mac to Samantha Montag and a great brother-in-law, uncle, and dear friend to many. He passed away with his wife by his side Wednesday, February 22, 2012 at the age of 77. He was married to Beverly for 56 wonderful years. He retired from Ford Motor Company in 1977. He was a Mason, a member of the Scottish Rite, as well as the Norwood Eagles and the Norwood Moose Lodge. He loved to travel, play golf, hunt and was an avid fisherman. He was the best Husband, Daddy, and Poppy in this world. Visitation at Vorhis & Ryan Funeral Home, 5501 Montgomery Road, Norwood, OH on Tuesday, February 28, 2012 from 10:00 AM until time of service at 1:00 PM. Graveside service will be held immediately following at Crown Hill Memorial Park, 11825 Pippin Road, Cincinnati, OH 45231.
