Kathryn Sprunger

Kathryn Faye (nee Soldner), beloved wife of the late Elmore Verne. Loving mother of Sandra (Randy) Nunn and Cheryl (David) Ellington. Cherished grandma of Matthew (Elizabeth) Ellington and Jonathan Ellington. Dear daughter of the late John and Sarah Soldner. Youngest sister of Loretta (Ray) Brooks and of the late Florence (Rudy) Brauner, Laura (Paul) Meyer, Marie (Glenn) Macy, and Lorena (Art) Covey. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Died April 30, 2015 at the age of 82. Resident of Cincinnati, Ohio and formerly Berne, Indiana. Retired elementary school teacher. Gifted cook, baker, seamstress, and gardener. Faithful member of Tri-County Baptist Church, where she formerly served as choir member and volunteer. Visitation Monday, May 18, 2015 from 9:30 a.m. until time of service at 11:00 a.m. at Vorhis & Ryan Funeral Home, 11365 Springfield Pike, Springdale, Ohio with burial following at Arlington Memorial Gardens. Memorials may be made to Alzheimer's Association, Hospice of Cincinnati, Tri-County Baptist Church, or charity of donor's choice.
