Passed away Thursday, July 12, 2012 at 61 years. Karen was very optimistic and caring, dedicating her career to working with underprivileged children. Visitation at Vorhis & Ryan Funeral Home, 11365 Springfield Pike, Springdale on Monday, July 16, 2012 from 4:00-7:00 PM. Funeral service on Tuesday, July 17, 2012 at 11:00 AM at the funeral home followed by burial at Dayton National Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Hoxworth Blood Center.
