Joyce Ann Proffitt

PROFFITT Joyce Ann (Walker) Proffitt, age 81, of Reading, OH passed away on December 18, 2023 surrounded by loved ones. She is the daughter of the late Ralph and Lois (Redkey) Walker. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Avery "Ace" Proffitt. Preceded in death also by her siblings, Janet Walker, Anita Walker, Mary (Walker) Stratton, Kay (Walker) McLaughlin, and Richard Walker. She is loved and cherished by her two children, Jennifer Ann Robins with Kevin Leach, and Jason Avery & Jessica Proffitt. She is survived by siblings, Nancy (Walker) Rhoads, Jerry & Nita Walker, and Connie & Bob Schienda. Mammaw is loved dearly by her grandkids, Daniel Robins & Vanessa Plummer, Cierra & Craig Metzcar, Dustin Robins, Dalton Robins, Ashley Toledo, and Matthew Toledo. Also remembered by many nephews, nieces, great-nephews and great-nieces. She leaves behind a wonderful community of friends and neighbors. And will be missed by many at Lockland Christian Church.

Friends may visit with the family at Vorhis & Ryan Funeral Home, 310 Dunn St., Lockland, OH 45215 on Friday, December 22, 2023 from 10am until time of service at 11am. Burial will follow at Reading Cemetery.
