(nee Jackson) Schmid; devoted parents, Joseph Sr. and Alma (nee Overbeck) Schmid; and cherished sister, Alma L. Wolf. His survivng, loving relatives include 13 nieces and nephews, as well as sister-in-law, Marge (Ted) Williams, and brother-in-law, Larry Jackson.Mitt was born and raised in Cincinnati, Ohio where he lived for 56 years. He chose to move to Clearwater, FL in 1979, where he spent the bulk of his remaining years. His passions included photography, gardening, traveling, golf, baseball, and bowling. Mitt was a WWII veteran and served our country in the Army Air Corps.A Christian Mass will be celebrated in his honor at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Montgomery Rd. at Drex Ave., Norwood, OH, Tuesday, January 5, 2010 at 10:00 AM. Interment in Clearwater, FL. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to charity of choice.
