ROSS, John Paul. Age 47. Passed away suddenly on Monday, September 7, 2015 on his ranch in Belize, Central America. Devoted husband of Rebecca (nee Schwartz); who survives along with their two sons, Christopher and John. Also survived by his loving parents, George and Joan (nee Heitz) Ross of Springdale. Also mourning the loss of her beloved brother is Amy Smith and family of Monfort Heights. As a youth, John was an enthusiastic member of the Boy Scouts of America and a happy volunteer at a local soup kitchen. After graduating from St. Xavier High School in 1986, John attended Miami University and joined the National Guard. John loved his fellow man as well as all things connected with nature. Those who knew John best, loved him most. John's cremains will be interred in Oak Hill Cemetery next to the grave of his Godmother, Catherine Heitz. Friends may greet family from 10:00 AM until Mass of Eternal Rest at 11:00 AM on Saturday, October 10, 2015 at St. Gabriel Catholic Church, 48 W Sharon Rd., Glendale, OH 45246. Memorial donations may be made to St. Gabriel Church or any charity devoted to pets or wildlife.
