Jody Maxey

Jody Lyn Maxey, 49, Cincinnati, passed away in her home Tuesday, May 7, 2019. Jody was born on April 30, 1970 in Cincinnati. Jody is survived by her wife, Nicole Maxey and her children Trey, Tera and Makenzie (stepdaughter). Mother, Barbara Maxey, mother in law Theresa Nolte, two brothers; Eddie (Sara), Wayne (Sharon), three sisters; Wendy (Terry), Amy (Ronnie), and Donna (Damon). Seven aunts; Brenda (Charlie), Bonnie (Jack), Sue, Dee Dee, Judy and Beverly. One uncle; Scott (Paul). Numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and sister in laws: Amy (Brad) and Traci (Dave) She is preceded in death by her father Wayne Maxey and father in law Frank Nolte, grandparents Betty Jean Shaw and Robert Woodruff, uncle Richard and aunt Jenny. Jody obtained her Associates degree before becoming the Assistant Director at CLA and was the former director of Kindercare. She Cofounded Girls on the run, was a basketball coach, a black belt in karate, and a sign language interpreter. Family and friends may visit Monday, May 13, 2019 from 5PM until time of service at 7PM at Vorhis & Ryan Funeral Home, 5501 Montgomery Rd., Norwood, Ohio 45212.
