Joan Purvis

PURVISJoan (nee Henke), 80, devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother, died Saturday, April 16, 2011 at Mercy Hospital in Fairfield, OH. A native Cincinnati resident, Joan graduated from Walnut Hills High School and DePauw University. Joan was the beloved wife of the late Harold E. Purvis; mother of Brad, Jeff, and David; grandmother of Cory, Jessica, Karly, Michael, Andrew, Taylor, and Casey; and great grandmother of Skylar, Ashlyn, and Charlie. Also survived by her sister-in-law, Judy Brown of California. Joan Purvis touched many lives and hearts. Visitation will be at Vorhis & Ryan Funeral Home, 11365 Springfield Pike, Springdale, Wednesday, April 20, 2011 from 2:00 PM until time of memorial service at 3:30 PM.
