PURVES, Joan A. (nee Ford). Beloved wife of the late Edward Robert Purves. Devoted mother of Dorothy (Craig) McManiman, Cathy (Greg) Hauser, Edward Purves, Jr., and Mary (Gary) Petrosky. Loving grandmother of Sean (Tricia) McManiman, Lauren (Mike) Greene, Nicole (Sebastien) Raymond, Ryan (Liz) Hauser, Stephen Hauser, Michael Purves, Megan Purves, Brian Petrosky, and Eric Petrosky. Great grandmother of five. Dear sister of Nancy (the late James) Schloemer, and Reginald (Cynthia) Ford. Joan passed away on Sunday, June 24, 2018 at the age of 85 years. Visitation will be held at Vorhis & Ryan Funeral Home, 11365 Springfield Pk., Springdale, OH 45246 on Thursday, June 28, 2018 from 5:00 PM - 8:00 PM. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Matthias Catholic Church, 1050 W Kemper Rd., Forest Park, OH 45240 on Friday, June 29, 2018 at 10:00 AM. Burial will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
