Joan P. Judge

JUDGE, Joan Patricia (nee Schneider), 90, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, July 23rd, 2024. She was born in Mankato, MN.

Daughter of the late Ray and Kate Schneider, beloved wife of the late Joseph "Bob" R. Judge. Sister to Rosemary (late Warren) Stowell and the late Michael (Adrian) Schneider. Devoted mother of Susan (Stephen) Schulte, Mary (Gene) Meister, Sharon Young (Rick Young) and Cathleen Judge. Joan was blessed with 9 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.

Joan was the first in her family with a college degree. She graduated from Mankato State in 1956 earning a bachelor's degree in social work. She served the communities of Waseca and Owatonna MN as a social worker before marrying J.R. (Bob) Judge. Later, when all their girls were older, she worked as a secretary/assistant for the school nurse in the Winton Woods School District, Forest Park, OH.

As a resident of Forest Park, Ohio for 50 years, Joan led a very active life and loved participating in and watching sports, going to musical and theatrical productions, and volunteering at her parish and community organizations. She especially loved watching her children and grandchildren's sporting and musical and school events. She was their greatest cheerleader in all their pursuits and passions. 

Visitation will be held at Vorhis & Ryan Funeral Home, 11365 Springfield Pk., Springdale, OH 45246 on Thursday, August 1, 2024 from 6-8PM. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. John Neumann Church, 12191 Mill Rd., Cincinnati, OH 45240 on Friday, August 2, 2024 at 11AM. Burial will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
