CHAMBERSJerry C., Jr. age 56, of Glendale, died August 26, 2011, He was born in Middletown, OH June 10, 1955, the son of the late Jerry C. Chambers, Sr., and Mary Francis Justice. Beloved husband of Virginia, loving father of John (Maia), adoring grandfather of Bodie. Brother of Bruce, Mark, and the late Rebecca, stepfather to Sarah Anderson and Aaron Madrigal. Jerry was a consummate performer, prolific recording artist and session musician. A pioneer of the early punk rock scene in Cincinnati. A tribute to his music legacy includes the bands Voodoo Kings, West Davis Force, Digbees, Tramps Next Door, Nervous Pioneers, Dennis the Menace, Kursk, and Madras Lounge. Jerry's master artistry was exemplified not only in his music, but also through the medium of Fresco, Trompe l'oeil, design, cartooning, cooking, and painting. His unique vision allowed him to travel nationally and internationally. Jerry was most proud of his journey to the US Embassy in Portugal, where he was selected to refurbish old world pieces of history. His passion of life transcended all generations and allowed him to love and be loved by all those whose paths he crossed. A life celebration will be held Monday, September 12, 2011, 4-10 PM at Memorial Hall, 1225 Elm St., Cincinnati, OH, 45202. Parking available on the right side of the building next to Music Hall.
