KRAPP, Janet N. (nee Nierman). Beloved wife of the late Leo F. Krapp. She will be lovingly remembered by her two sisters, Joyce Wine (Lyman) of Kennedy Heights, who continues to operate the Janet Flower Shop and Joan Meadows (Bob) of Moorehead, KY. She was the mother of son Henry Lee Krapp (Paulette) of Mason, OH; and two daughters Karen Anne Baxter Peebuste (Arthur) of North Port, FL, and Marjorie Lynne Eddy of Poughkeepsie, NY. Her legacy will live on in her beloved seven grandchildren, Sherry Brubaker (Bob), Julie Antochi(Stephan), Holly Borsodi (Chris), Jill Zaiser (Greg), Jennifer Lawson (Criag), Barbara Kolonauski (Michael) and Marc Eddy (Amy), and seven great-grandchildren Collette Borsodi, Ella Borsodi, Kaitlyn Lawson, Caroline Eddy, Madison Eddy, Jake Eddy and Sara Kolonauski. Janet was involved with 25 international hostels in the US, Europe, Japan, and China. As part of the Experiment in International Living, they organized 15 local families to host French Engineers. Janet was active with the Girls Scouts. She was the first troop leader who took her scouts through the Horsemanship Badge. For 25 years she served on the Great Cincinnati Girl Scout Camp Committee. As a member of the Purchasing Committee, she purchased canoes and other supplies for the Butterworth Girl Scout Camp. Janet was recognized as a 50 year member of the Pleasant Ridge Garden Club, and a 50 year member of the Pleasant Ridge Presbyterian Church. Passed away, with family at her side, on Tues., Feb. 10, 2016 at the age of 95 years. Visitation will be held from 9 AM until time of service at 10 AM on Saturday, February 13, 2016 at Vorhis & Ryan Funeral Home, 5501 Montgomery Rd., Norwood, OH 45212. The family wish to extend their gratitude to the excellent staff at Mason Christian Village for their love and support in her final days.
