Janet Glassmeyer

Janet Lee (Wagner) Glassmeyer passed away peacefully with family on July 17, 2021. Born on August 26, 1940, she was the middle child of John and Juanita (nee Bolser) Wagner's three daughters. A graduate of St. Ursula Academy, a lifelong resident of Cincinnati and a member of St. Matthias Church in Forest Park, she was preceded in death by her parents.

She is survived by her loving husband, Anthony John Glassmeyer, her three sons; Tony (Marty), Andy (Sue), and Jim (Joan), her four loving grandchildren; Connor, Vinnie, Ruby and Sam, her two sisters; Joyce Doerr and Judy Johnson, and her loving nieces and nephews.

Janet loved her family and friends. During time spent with her you were well fed, had many laughs and good times. She was always up for an adventure or an opportunity to celebrate life with those she loved. Her kindness and love were felt by those she encountered. Through her work at the Barrett Cancer Center she was able to bring a smiling face and compassion to many patients. Her commitment to her children was unparalleled, the love for her grandchildren was absolute and unconditional.  Her laughter and hugs shared with them is what brought her the most joy.

A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, July 29, 2021 at St. Matthias, 1050 W. Kemper Road, Cincinnati, OH 45240.
