James Knight

James L. Knight, 84, was born on Friday, May 13, 1938, and was raised in Elmwood Place, Ohio.  He passed away on October 16, 2022, in Cincinnati, Ohio.  Beloved husband of Mary Ann Knight of 61 years.  Beloved father of Ann Marie, Bob (Susan) and Tom (Carmell).  Dear grandfather of Joe (Lydia), Daniel (Jette), Benjamin, Caroline, and Sarah.  James was a graduate of Central High School and was a US Army Korean War Veteran, a member of the Hugh Watson American Legion Post 530 and the VFW Post 7230 in Forest Park, Ohio.  He also was a Deputy Registrar for Forest Park. Jim loved his family, golf, the Cincinnati Reds and woodworking.  Family and friends may visit Thursday, October 20, 2022 from 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM at Vorhis & Ryan Funeral Home, 11365 Springfield Pike, Springdale, Ohio 45246.  Mass of Eternal Rest is Friday, October 21, 2022 at 10:00 AM at St. Gabriel Catholic Church, 48 West Sharon Avenue, Glendale, Ohio 45246.  Burial will follow in St. Mary Cemetery, St. Bernard, Ohio.
