James Burton

BURTON James, beloved husband of LaVerne (nee Enderle) Burton; loving father of Holly (Dave) Scheyer, Linda Burton, Sheila Burton, Jane Anderson, Terrie Elliott, Debbie (Mike) Carroll, and Doug Bernhardt; cherished grandfather of 16, great grandfather of 11, and great-great grandfather of 2; dear brother of Judy Hoyt and Ronnie Burton. Preceded in death by his mother, Lula Corbin-Grant and father, Owen Burton. Passed away April 3, 2012 at the age of 87. Visitation at Vorhis & Ryan Funeral Home, 11365 Springfield Pike, Springdale, Saturday, April 7, 2012 from 10:00 AM until time of funeral service at 12:00 Noon. A member of the Scottish Rite and the Masonic Temple in Mt. Healthy.
