Jacob Kessler

Jacob Scott Kessler (Jake) passed away on February 16, 2020, at the young age of 27.
He is survived by his mother, Nicole Brown, and stepfather, Mark Brown. He is also survived by his grandparents, David and Linda Latham and Aunt, Julie Wright; Uncle, Rob Latham (Kim) and his many cousins. He is the loving brother of Brandon Scarff, Joshua Kessler and brother-in-life, Dave Hoeffer. He was Uncle Jake to many but most importantly his niece, Destiny Scarff. He was a loving and devoted boyfriend to Hannah Hardman. He will live on in his precious son, King Ledbetter.
He was preceded in death by his father, Ronald Kessler and grandmothers, Barbara Smith and Margaret Kessler.
Jake enjoyed sports music, dancing, family and hanging out with his friends and support groups. Jake loved life and everyone loved Jake. And his smile - oh that smile!
Jake courageously fought his battle with heroin addiction which ultimately took his life way too soon. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to CCAT (Center for Addiction Treatment, catsober.org)
A celebration of life service will be held on February 28,2020, at Vorhis and Ryan Funeral home located in Springdale from 6:00pm - 8:00pm. Pastor will start Eulogy around 7:15.

Family and friends are encouraged to share their memories with Jake and will have the opportunity to speak with an open mic. You are also welcome to bring a favorite picture to hang on his memory board.
