DEVOGE, J. Thomas, 70, made his transition peacefully at home surrounded by soulmate Joyce Beavans DeVoge, son Dr. Justin Michael DeVoge, brother-in-law Jim Beavans, sister-in-law Rita Beavans. Survivors include sisters-in-law Jarol DeVoge, Jackie Beavans Stewart, nieces Christine DeVoge Bernosky, Jennifer Stewart Lacase, Jill Stewart Hamann; cousins Elaina Bartos Bramble, John Bartos, Robert Bartos, Sidney Alonzo. Born in W.Va., Tom was proud of his heritage. Educated at W.V.U., member of Phi Beta Kappa; he interned at Duke U. and earned his Ph.D. in 1970. Tom was gifted with many talents. His renown sense of humor, piano playing, story telling and cartooning gave pleasure to all. Notable for his generosity, Christmas cards and vast memory, Tom carried an extensive knowledge of sports trivia, especially Baseball. A caring and accomplished clinical psychologist, Tom leaves a grieving clientele. He requested the love he was blessed with not pass with him, that the spigots of love be turned on.
