Hobert Denny

ARMYWWIIDENNYHobert Edwin. Beloved husband of 69 years to Belvie (nee Robbins) Denny. Devoted father of Dixie (Roy) Schlensker, Cheryl Clark, Barbara (Ray) Easterling, and Mark Denny. Dear grandfather of Randy, Jeff (Debbie), Greg (Pam), Troy (Christy), Billy (Brooks), Adam, and Chris and 14 great grandchildren. Loving son of the late Dewey and Effie Denny. Caring brother of the late Zella Long and Homer Denny. Went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, August 26, 2009 at the age of 89. He served in the Army in the South Pacific during WWII. Mr. Denny was a supervisor at P&G for 38 years. He was an active member of Tri-County Baptist Church, Mt. Healthy Masonic Lodge, a longtime member of Gideons, and an avid golfer. Friends may call at Tri-County Baptist Church, 8195 Beckett Rd., West Chester, Saturday, August 29, 2009 from 10 AM until time of funeral service at 12 Noon.
