Henrietta Geeding

GEEDINGHenrietta "Billie" passed away Thursday, August 26, 2010 at Maple Knoll Village at age 96. She was born in Cincinnati in 1914 to Anna and H. Christian Williams. In 1940, she married Daniel Payne Geeding. Preceded in death by her parents, her sister, Dorothy Williams Sappington, and husband, Daniel Payne Geeding. She is survived by her son, Daniel Williams Geeding and wife, Janet, of Cincinnati and Patricia Geeding Zigrossi and husband, Sam, of Austin, Texas. She is also survived by her grandchildren; Daniel Robert Geeding and wife, Christy, of Cincinnati, great grandchildren Isabella and Denny; Gillian Geeding Cooper and husband, Steve, of Cincinnati, great grandchildren Austin and Charlie; Christopher Joe Zigrossi and wife, Angie, of Austin, Texas, great grandchildren Kate and Abby; and Brian Christian Geeding of Cincinnati. Grandchildren Julie Tepe Warden and husband, Glenn, great grandchildren Paige, Trey and Mia; Katie Tepe Hadnett and husband, Robert, great grandchildren Evan and Chase; Stephanie Tepe Schaeper and husband, Mark, of Mooresville, North Carolina, great grandson, Jay. She is also survived by her nephew, Kenneth Sappington and wife, Virginia, of Easton, Maryland and their children Christian and Ethel. Grandma Billie was loved by all and will be greatly missed by her family and friends. In addition to her love for her family, friends, and The Wyoming Baptist Church, she was an avid tennis fan, gardener, and bridge player. Friends may call at The Wyoming Baptist Church at 11:30 AM on Tuesday, August 31, 2010 Funeral services will follow at 12:30 PM at the church located at 170 Burns Avenue, Wyoming, Ohio 45215. A brief fellowship will follow the ceremony at the church. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to The Wyoming Baptist Church or a charity of your choice.
