Gretchel Christian

CHRISTIAN, Gretchel, a longtime resident of Norwood, Ohio was called to forever to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on Saturday, April 26, 2014 at the age of 76. She was born June 12, 1937 in Cardinal, Kentucky. She is survived by her husband, Ray Christian and her children, Jerry and Wave Lynch, Dewey and Nora Lynch, Lee Lawson, and Valerie Keyes. She also is survived by 10 grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Beloved sister of Evelyn Clark, Brenda and Bill Ebel, Eddie Dane and Beth Brummett, Teddie Wayne and Kathy Brummett and Cheryl Brummett and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. Preceded in death by her parents, Nancy Hensley and Dewey Brummett, her brothers, Fred Brown, and Dearl Brummett, and a brother-in-law, Harvey Clark and a son-in-law, Ken Keys. A visitation will be held at the New Bethel Baptist Church, 2400 Norwood Avenue, Norwood, OH 45212 on Tuesday, April 29, 2014 from 12:00 noon until time of funeral service at 1:00 PM, the Reverend Kirk Pike will be officiating. Burial will follow at Graceland Memorial Gardens in Milford, Ohio. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Diabetes Association or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
